I am thinking about buying this because I think it does most of what I need. I noticed that the latest version is from 2004. Will there be new versions coming out at some point. Or will the program be the same forever?

You don't say which title you're concerned with.

Of the existing titles Detagger is the one most actively under development. All our titles are supported and we're open to enhancement suggestions, but it's Detagger that is most actively under development.

We hope to get version 3.0 of Detagger out early this year. Users who register can elect to become "early adopters" and as such get to try the software under development at certain key points in the development cycle. If you visit the "Early Adopters" forum you can see some of the fucntionality that will be included in Detagger 3.0 listed.

After the 3.0 release of Detagger, it's hoped to do the next official release of AscToPDF, and to release COM versions of all our APIs.

The only product officially not under development any more is AscToTab... that functionality is now included in AscToHTM, and any enhancements to the table generting software will be applied to AscToHTM only.
